About

Hi! I’m Evelyn. It’s nice to meet you!

Outdoor travel is one of my true passions. For much of my career, I worked in the environmental education and wildlife conservation fields. This led me to live in and explore some incredible places including the Dominican Republic, the Cayman Islands, and Northern California. I love to explore through hiking. To be surrounded by nature and take in the sights and sounds of the area.

Planning trips is my favorite hobby after actually traveling. I love seeking out the unique experiences that embody a location. Whale watching in Samana Bay, Dominican Republic, and staying in a Yurt with an epic canyon view in Utah are two recent highlights. If I’m visiting somewhere I have been before, I always try something new, such as a trail I’ve never tried, to get a different perspective. My friends and family have come to rely on me for these special insights and experiences during our trips together. Now, you can too…

My goal for this community is to provide the inspiration and resources you need to start planning your dream outdoor travel adventures…and empower you to turn them into reality!

In this space, you can expect:

  • Useful tips for personalizing your own unique outdoor travel expeditions
  • Personal insights that have elevated past travel experiences to into once-in-a-lifetime extraordinary memories
